However, this decision is expected to be announced after former US President Donald Trump's visit to the kingdom ends. According to sources, the Prime Minister decided to postpone the matter until Trump leaves the country.

This decision is explained by caution to avoid the topic becoming the main issue at Starmer's joint press conference on September 18. According to Reuters, Washington is firmly opposed to officially recognizing Palestine.

It is emphasized that such a move by London could negatively affect relations between the two states. Additionally, Britain is expected to announce its decision before the UN General Assembly session in New York.

It is said that France, Canada, and Australia might also recognize Palestine as a state at this meeting. This situation could lead to significant changes in regional and international politics.
