Peskov understood Trump's emotional approach to the Ukraine conflict

The press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, commented on the views of US President Donald Trump regarding the Ukraine conflict. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to him, Trump's emotional approach to this issue is natural because he is striving to stop the war. Journalists asked Peskov about Vladimir Putin's reaction to Trump's accusation that he "gave a slap."

In response, the Kremlin representative expressed confidence in the political will and decisions of the United States and Trump personally. He also emphasized that Trump's emotional approach to the topic is completely understandable.

Peskov noted that Vladimir Putin is in favor of resolving the conflict in Ukraine solely through diplomatic means. It was emphasized that the Kremlin is undertaking many efforts in this regard.

However, according to Moscow, the Kyiv regime and some European countries are resisting and prolonging the process. It is worth noting that in his speech on September 18, Donald Trump said that Putin had "given him a slap" and indicated that the war between Russia and Ukraine could be resolved more easily.

Peskov's statement indicates that Moscow has not closed the possibility of continuing dialogue with Washington. At the same time, the situation around Ukraine remains a serious disagreement between the West and Russia.
