A natural "shield" against allergies has been identified - news from Japanese scientists!

Scientists from the University of Tokyo have announced the discovery of a natural substance against allergies. This substance is called kaempferol and is found in products such as kale, broccoli, red-skinned apples, green tea, cabbage, and beans. The research results were published in the journal Allergy.
What does kaempferol do?
In experiments conducted on mice, scientists found that kaempferol reduced the reaction to food allergies, particularly to egg white. Mice that received the substance experienced a cessation of diarrhea, a decrease in body temperature, and a significant reduction in sensitivity to allergens.
This flavonoid enhances the production of the RALDH2 enzyme in the body. It regulates the immune system, reduces inflammation, and suppresses allergic reactions.
A pathway to natural prevention is opened
Professor Tiharu Nishiyama emphasized that regular consumption of kaempferol-rich products may help alleviate allergy symptoms. Additionally, there is a possibility of positive results in autoimmune diseases as well.
Although the research has so far been conducted on animals, scientists plan to conduct clinical trials on humans in the near future.
Advice from specialists
Doctors recommend that individuals prone to allergies include kaempferol-rich vegetables and fruits in their daily diet. Such products not only help with allergies but also strengthen overall immunity.
