Italian chef stayed at sea for 188 days
Italian chef Giulia Bakkosi accepted an unexpected job offer while celebrating the New Year of 2019 with her friends. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

She agreed to work as a chef on a cargo ship. Initially, the trip was planned to last three months.

However, after setting sail, the crew faced difficulties in the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Giulia actively participated in rescuing people stranded at sea, feeding them, and providing assistance.

During this time, the Covid-19 pandemic spread, making it impossible for the crew to enter many ports. As food and gas supplies dwindled, Giulia and the crew were forced to look for new creative solutions.

They tried to overcome difficulties by watching dolphins at sea, studying nature, and helping each other. After being at sea for 188 days, the ship Avontur reached Germany.

The crew unloaded the cargo and finally set foot on land. Giulia felt changed and began to think about how to apply her new experiences in life.

This journey helped her further strengthen patience, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
