A Vnukovo airport employee was fined 655 thousand rubles for illegally using the business lounge through a bank. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to court documents, he purchased a special bank package that granted access to business lounges at airports and train stations via a boarding pass or ticket. However, over five months, he visited these lounges a total of 364 times, mainly at Vnukovo airport, as well as using services at Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Sochi airports.
During the investigation, it was found that the employee shared his access code with other individuals. While the court of first instance imposed only a 12.6 thousand ruble fine, subsequent appellate and cassation courts fully enforced the fine amount.
The court's decision considered the number of visits, their duration, and instances of simultaneous use by multiple people as key factors. This case highlights the consequences of violating rules and regulations established for airport employees.
Since illegal use can damage the reliability of airport infrastructure, such cases must be strictly controlled. The court's strict ruling demonstrates the aim to ensure legality and discipline in the use of airport services.
