Trump discussed long-range weapons with Zelensky

According to The Wall Street Journal, US President Donald Trump expressed readiness to consider lifting restrictions on Kyiv's use of long-range weapons during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

However, he did not make any definite promises on the matter. During the meeting, Zelenskiy asked Trump to provide more long-range weapons and to remove the restrictions on their use.

According to sources, Trump was not opposed to this proposal but did not make any commitments. Since spring, the Pentagon has imposed a number of restrictions on the use of ATACMS missiles and other weapons supplied to Ukraine.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and his deputy Elbridge Colby are reviewing these restrictions. During this process, US officials are carefully considering the expansion of military aid to Ukraine.
