Kazakhstan is fully transitioning to a digital state
Kazakhstan has begun a new phase in becoming a digital state. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Artificial intelligence and digital technologies are no longer an abstract future but have become an integral part of everyday life. This was stated by Kazakhstan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan, Beybut Atamkulov, during a roundtable held in Tashkent.

The meeting was attended by leading experts, analysts, and representatives of mass media from Uzbekistan. The address delivered by Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the nation on September 8, 2025, was discussed in detail.

The address outlined important directions for the country's development, notably highlighting artificial intelligence as a strategic priority. As emphasized by Ambassador Atamkulov, the head of state aims to transform Kazakhstan into a fully digital state within three years.

To this end, a special Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development was established, and the Digital Development Code was adopted. The new ministry has started its activities and is implementing initial projects.

Recently, Kazakhstan launched the first supercomputer in the country's history. The National Bank also introduced the first Kazakh stablecoin pegged to the tenge.

This is considered an important step in forming the ecosystem of digital assets. Within the framework of the Alatau City project in the Almaty region, a new city is being built based on smart technologies and is planned to become the country's first digital city.

The tasks set in the address are aligned with the rapid changes in the modern world and harmonize with the goals of countries in the region. It was also noted that a national model of artificial intelligence is being developed in Uzbekistan, and state programs are being effectively implemented, which creates opportunities to further develop digital cooperation between the two countries.

The Central Asian Innovation Hubs platform is operational, and international startups are being implemented through projects in cooperation between Astana Hub and IT Park Uzbekistan. During the roundtable, it was emphasized that the Central Asian region is entering a new stage of integration today, laying a solid foundation for prosperity and stability in the future.

It was also recalled that the addresses of Kazakhstan's leader to the nation have become a tradition in the country's political life. These addresses serve as a catalyst for significant changes in society.

Efforts in digital transformation and artificial intelligence will play an important role in Kazakhstan's future development.
