Woman survived deep well in China
An astonishing incident that occurred in China has attracted wide attention. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

A 48-year-old woman accidentally fell into an abandoned deep well and survived for 54 hours among snakes and mosquitoes. This was reported by the South China Morning Post.

The incident took place on September 13 in a forest area near the city of Quanzhou, Fujian Province. The woman accidentally fell into the well while walking.

Her relatives searched throughout the night but found no results. Therefore, on September 14, an official report was made about her disappearance.

Emergency rescue operations began on September 15. After the woman’s son contacted special services, a 10-person team equipped with a drone started the search.

According to the team leader Du Xiaoxiang, at 13:45 they heard a faint scream and continued searching in the direction of the sound, eventually finding the well hidden among bushes. The woman described the terrifying moments she experienced as follows: “Several times I lost hope and wanted to give up.

It was dark inside the well, and mosquitoes gathered around. Snakes swam in the water.

Mosquitoes bit me within seconds, and once a water snake bit my hand. Fortunately, it was not poisonous.

But thinking of my mother, father, and daughter, I tried not to give up.” Rescuers found the woman clinging tightly to the walls of the well. She was immediately taken to Xinzhi Hospital, and then transferred to Quanzhou First Hospital.

Doctors found that two of her ribs were broken and there was a small swelling in her lung. Because she had clung to the wall for a long time, her hands also had severe injuries.

Currently, her condition is stable, and doctors expect her to fully recover within a few days. This incident became a vivid example of human willpower and courage.
