The United Nations has reinstated the sanctions imposed on Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
These sanctions were initially lifted in 2015. The United Kingdom, France, and Germany decided to reapply the measures due to Iran's failure to comply with the terms of the nuclear agreement.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkiyon described this decision as unfair and incorrect. According to him, Iran is focusing solely on energy production and has no intention of developing weapons.
At the same time, Western countries criticized Iran for not allowing full monitoring of its nuclear activities and for not providing sufficient information about its uranium reserves, expressing distrust towards Iran. European countries emphasized that there is an opportunity to discuss the situation.
Israel fully supported the sanctions and called on the international community to take strict measures. These events hold significant importance in international politics and may impact regional and global security.
