US President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington to conduct negotiations on a peace plan aimed at ending the Gaza war. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This conflict has been ongoing for nearly two years, and Israel is under international pressure. According to the plan proposed by Trump, the first step is to cease fire, then release all hostages within 48 hours, followed by the gradual withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza.

Additionally, new negotiations between Israel and Palestine are planned to begin. However, there are disagreements regarding the plan.

Israel does not agree with some provisions, while Arab countries are putting forward their demands. Egypt emphasizes that the Palestinian administration should not be sidelined, and Qatar's role as a mediator remains important.

Although Trump expressed confidence in reaching an agreement, analysts stress that this process will not be easy. Netanyahu is under domestic dissatisfaction and political pressure.

Nevertheless, this meeting is regarded as an important step towards peace.
