This was stated by the country's special envoy for Syria and ambassador to Ankara, Tom Barrack. According to him, Washington does not plan to send troops to Syria.

He said: “I trust him. His goals are aimed at ensuring peace and stability in Syria.
However, it is natural that various ethnic and political interests complicate the process.” Thus, the United States once again stated that it is striving not to replace the government in Syria, but to strengthen security and stability.
