Netanyahu apologized to Qatar for the airstrike

According to the Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu apologized by phone to Qatari leaders for the airstrike that took place in Doha on September 9 during his visit to the United States. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The meeting took place during the summit at the White House. Netanyahu promised that such strikes would not be repeated.

Qatar's Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani firmly emphasized that the country's sovereignty and security would not be violated. The statement also noted that US President Donald Trump highly appreciated Qatar's regional and international mediation role.

Qatar expressed its willingness to join Trump's initiative to end the war in Gaza. The airstrike resulted in six casualties.

Among the deceased were the son of Khalil al-Hayini, a member of the Hamas political bureau, four members, and one police officer. Later, Netanyahu announced that necessary measures had been taken to prevent such incidents.
