US military women oppose Hegset statement

In some positions, gender and age differences are not considered; all military personnel undergo the same test. Hegseth believes that the standards set for women have been lowered and aims to restore them to the previous level.

For this reason, some female military personnel and veterans express concern that this decision may hinder the advancement of women in military service. At the same time, some Republicans support Hegseth's view, emphasizing that high standards and accountability are important for military security.
