Tree collapse causes disaster during religious ceremony in Ethiopia
A tragedy that occurred during a religious ceremony in the village of Arerti, Ethiopia, caused injuries to many people. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Large trees used as support in the church collapsed. As a result of this incident, 22 people died and 55 were injured.

The injured were taken to hospitals in the capital, Addis Ababa. Local media reported that there might still be people trapped under the trees.

An investigation is currently underway regarding the incident. Officials have not yet disclosed the exact causes of the tragedy.

According to some assumptions, structural weakness of the trees or other accidental factors may have caused the incident. This event, which occurred especially during a religious ceremony, caused significant damage.

The government emphasizes the need to strengthen safety measures to prevent such tragedies. After the investigation is completed, necessary steps are planned to be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.

This event once again reminded society of the importance of paying special attention to safety issues.
