The National Intelligence Organization of Turkey (MIT) has arrested Serkan Chichek, the head of the "Pandora" detective agency in Istanbul. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He is suspected of selling information to Israel's Mossad intelligence service, according to TRT Haber TV channel. According to the information, Serkan Chichek established contact with Mossad representatives in July 2025 and agreed to provide information about Palestinian activists living in Istanbul.
He was promised a payment of 4,000 US dollars in cryptocurrency. However, when he reached the designated location, he was unable to identify the target and failed to complete the assignment.
Chichek was arrested during an investigation conducted by the Istanbul prosecutor's office in cooperation with MIT and the local security directorate. Illegal elements were found in his activities.
This incident once again highlights the aspects of espionage and intelligence activities related to legal violations in various countries. It emphasizes how complex and delicate the work of international security and intelligence services is.
It also demonstrates the effectiveness of legal authorities in combating such crimes.
