A baby was saved from being buried alive in India
In India, parents tried to bury their three-day-old baby alive, but local residents managed to save the child. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The Times of India reported on this incident. It was revealed that the baby's father worked as a teacher in a government school and was legally prohibited from having more than two children.

The birth of a fourth child could have led to his dismissal from work. Therefore, the parents tried to take the baby to the forest and hide it under stones.

Villagers heard the baby's crying, immediately removed the stones, and rescued the child. Later, the baby was taken to the hospital.

The police arrested the father and mother. It was reported that they had also hidden the birth of their third child from the authorities.

Previously, reports emerged from Uttar Pradesh state about a 20-day-old girl who was buried alive and admitted to the hospital in critical condition. This baby was accidentally found by a herder.

While grazing goats, he heard a crying sound coming from underground. Following the sound, he saw the baby's small hands above the ground. After that, local residents and the police were informed, and the child was dug out from under the soil.

These incidents once again remind society of the importance of parental responsibility, children's rights, and adherence to the law.
