An unexpected incident occurred in Croatia. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
A snake that bit a man walking by the roadside while intoxicated died from alcohol poisoning. According to the local News Bar portal, 42-year-old Shtef Radulich felt a sharp pain in his leg while walking home on foot after a work meeting.
At that moment, he noticed a snake moving by the roadside. Witnesses noted that the snake itself was in a strange state: weak, making trembling sounds, and hitting its head against a tree twice.
When Radulich caught the snake and took it to a veterinary clinic, it was found that the animal had already died. Expert analysis revealed that the snake's blood contained 5.1 g/kg of alcohol.
Experts confirmed that this dose was lethal for the snake. Interestingly, Radulich was not seriously harmed by the snake bite.
According to doctors, the alcohol poisoning may have partially reduced the effect of the snake venom. However, it is incorrect to consider this situation a “rescue remedy.”
It is worth noting that alcohol is a slow-acting and very dangerous poison that causes serious harm to health. Even the snake could not withstand this poison.
If bitten by a snake, one should not act recklessly. It is important to seek emergency medical help immediately, stay calm, and keep the injured area immobilized.
It is always recommended not to try to catch an unknown animal and to inform specialists. Thus, this incident became a story of a person who survived a dangerous situation and a snake that died from alcohol.
The main point is that this case is not luck but a coincidence full of risks and dangers. Health should never be taken lightly.
