Colombian president criticized the US bombing

In recent weeks, the US has targeted four boats in the Caribbean Sea, resulting in 21 deaths. The American side emphasizes that these actions were directed against drug trafficking vessels, but no precise information has been provided about the identities of those killed.

Petro assessed this incident as a sign of a new war starting in the Caribbean Sea and called on the international community to stop such actions. At the same time, the US government requested President Petro to retract his statement.
