Taliban representatives stated that 58 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 30 were injured. They emphasized that this attack was carried out as a "retaliatory strike."

According to the Taliban, Pakistan previously bombarded a market in Afghan territory, causing harm to civilians. Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi called the attacks baseless and stated that his country would respond firmly to such actions.

It was emphasized that necessary measures would be taken against every attack. In this regard, the Torkham and Chaman border crossing points were temporarily closed, halting the movement of hundreds of trucks.

Saudi Arabia and Qatar called on the parties to maintain calm and open channels of dialogue. This situation is attracting the attention of the international community to ensure security and stability in the region.
