Russian President Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to the people of the country on the occasion of Easter, one of the most important holidays for Orthodox Christians.

In the greeting published on the official Kremlin website, Putin emphasized that the Easter holiday bestows feelings of love and hope, goodness and trust in justice to people.

“The great Easter holiday gives us love and hope, trust in goodness and justice. At the same time, it unites us around strong spiritual and moral values,” the head of state said in his address.

The president also highly valued the role of the Russian Orthodox Church and other Christian denominations in society, noting their importance in ensuring social harmony and mutual solidarity.

“As always, the Russian Orthodox Church and other Christian denominations serve as a great inspiring force in strengthening social harmony among people, fostering the younger generation, and preserving family values,” Vladimir Putin said.

The Russian president also praised the recent initiatives of religious organizations in the fields of patriotism, charity, and education.

In his opinion, such noble efforts certainly deserve sincere recognition and respect from society.
