
On Thursday evening, a boat carrying migrants near the Greek island of Chios crashed into a rocky shore, resulting in a disaster. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
As a result of the incident, two women died. According to the Greek Coast Guard, rescue teams managed to save a total of five people from the water.
Two of them were unconscious. During the ongoing search operations on land, another twenty-four people were found and taken to a safe place.
In total, twelve victims were taken to the hospital on the island of Chios. Unfortunately, two of them, both women, passed away.
Authorities are currently conducting an investigation to determine the causes of the disaster. The incident highlights the serious danger faced by migrants.
It is emphasized that many lives were at risk due to the boat accident. Therefore, security measures in the area are being strengthened.
