According to Trump, Modi told him that India is currently not importing oil from Russia and emphasized that a similar agreement should now be reached with China. However, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs denied this statement.

According to official Delhi representatives, Narendra Modi did not have any communication with Donald Trump on Wednesday. A spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs emphasized that this conversation did not take place at all.

Thus, the Indian government denies the information in President Trump's statement and indicates that there is no official agreement on this matter. This incident highlights uncertainties regarding oil trade and political relations between the two countries.
