Levitt sharply responded to the journalist, Trump supported
The workflow at the White House has once again come under scrutiny. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This time, the incident occurred between US President Donald Trump's press secretary Caroline Levitt and a representative of the HuffPost publication. During a press conference held on October 17, a journalist asked about the reason Budapest was chosen for the Trump-Putin meeting.

Although the question seemed simple, Levitt's response was unexpected and sharp. She replied to the journalist, "Your mother chose that."

These words surprised those present in the hall. Levitt did not stop there and sharply criticized the journalist.

According to her, the HuffPost representative is an "extremely left-leaning writer" who is not taken seriously even among colleagues. "People in the media won't tell you this, but they think so," she said.

The press secretary described the journalist's questions as "insincere and foolish" and expressed fatigue with such "biased" questions. The same journalist is known for writing a book in 2021 that introduced the phrase "useful fool" about Donald Trump.

For this reason, it is assumed that relations between the two sides were tense from the start. After the incident, Trump defended his secretary during a meeting with journalists.

He firmly rejected questions about replacing Levitt. "That will never happen," said the president.

At the same time, he made a sensational comment about his secretary: "This face... and these lips work like a machine gun, don't they?" he added.

Caroline Levitt began her work as press secretary for Trump's 2024 election campaign. Her working style is considered strict and aggressive.

Since January 2025, she has officially held the position of White House press secretary. At 28 years old, Levitt became the youngest person in US history to hold this position.

Her sharp statements often become the center of discussion. Some consider her brave and outspoken, while others accuse her of crossing professional ethical boundaries.

At the same time, Trump's trust in his secretary demonstrates a strong unity within his political team. Public opinion is divided into two parts.

Some praise Levitt's determination, while others believe her rude attitude is not suitable for the US White House.
