Aviation workers in the US remain unpaid
The US government has been shut down for three weeks. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

As a result, more than 60,000 aviation security workers have not been paid. These workers are responsible for controlling airplane flights and ensuring safety at airports.

They last received their salaries in mid-October, but not in full. Many employees are currently forced to look for additional work to make ends meet.

Some have started working in delivery services, while others are facing difficulties supporting their families due to low wages. Food collection points are being organized at some airports to assist employees.

For example, free food distribution is planned at Minneapolis–Saint Paul airport. If the problem continues until November, the airport will also provide free lunches to employees.

One Dallas airport employee reported having to take out a loan to cover living expenses. During the previous government shutdown, many workers did not come to work, which caused long lines at airports.

Political disagreements in Congress continue and the budget has not yet been approved. If the parties cannot reach an agreement soon, thousands of federal employees may remain unpaid again.
