Uzbek drivers will be employed in the UAE
An important step has been taken in the field of labor migration in the United Arab Emirates. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Staff of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the management of the “Dubai Taxi Company PJSC” in Dubai. During the meeting, both parties discussed ensuring legal and decent employment for Uzbek drivers in the UAE and establishing mutually beneficial cooperation.

The head of “Dubai Taxi Company PJSC,” Sayid Amin Abdulrahman, expressed great interest in hiring qualified drivers from Uzbekistan. The company is attracting experienced specialists from various countries to expand its operations and improve service quality.

Positive opinions about Uzbek drivers also serve as a basis for developing cooperation. According to Abdulrahman, in the initial phase, it is planned to employ 200 Uzbek drivers as taxi drivers.

If they demonstrate good results in their work, the next phase envisages hiring about 500 more drivers. Practical measures regarding the selection of drivers, document processing, and organizing labor activities on a legal basis were also discussed at the meeting.

The company management emphasized strict compliance with all legal requirements and labor protection standards during the hiring process. The representative of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan noted that special training programs, language preparation, and courses on transport ethics are being organized for taxi drivers in the country.

This will enable our compatriots to be competitive in the international labor market. At the end of the negotiations, the Uzbekistan Labor Agency and the management of “Dubai Taxi Company PJSC” discussed the next stages of cooperation and agreed to start practical work on selecting drivers through a competition and sending them to the UAE.

Both parties emphasized that this initiative is an important step not only in creating jobs but also in strengthening labor and economic cooperation between the two countries. Thus, new job opportunities are expected to open for Uzbek drivers in the UAE.

This will provide our compatriots with a stable source of income and create an opportunity to showcase the national labor potential on the international stage.
