
The former captain and legendary goalkeeper of Madrid's "Real" football club, Iker Casillas, was the victim of a burglary at his home. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Spanish sources, unknown individuals broke into the footballer's private residence and stole five elite watches of significant material value. The local police released an official statement on October 21.
As a result of the investigation, a suspect was identified, who turned out to be a woman employed as a housekeeper at Casillas' home. The woman was apprehended while attempting to leave Spain.
The police found two watches in her possession, while the remaining three are still missing and under search. During the investigation, authorities are also examining whether the woman had any accomplices involved in the incident.
Iker Casillas is considered one of the greatest goalkeepers in football history. He defended the honor of "Real Madrid" for 16 years and won several international trophies with the team, including three UEFA Champions League titles.
Before starting his coaching career, he worked at the Portuguese club "Porto" and later was active in sports administration. The police are currently continuing their investigation.
According to official information, the stolen watches belong to some of the world's most prestigious brands, with a total value that could reach hundreds of thousands of euros.
