
Russia carried out missile and drone strikes on Kyiv and Ukrainian territories during the night. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to official information, two people were killed and 13 were injured as a result of the attack. Fires broke out in the targeted areas, including a kindergarten.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliya Sviridenko emphasized that the attacks were aimed at civilian and energy facilities. According to her, Russia is trying to create a humanitarian crisis during the winter season.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the strikes targeted Ukraine's military-industrial complex and energy infrastructure. Additionally, the Russian side reported shooting down 121 Ukrainian drones, seven of which were flying towards Moscow.
Large clouds of smoke rose over Kyiv, and firefighters continue to extinguish the fires. Since the beginning of the year, Russia has launched 770 ballistic missiles and more than 50 "Kinzhal" missiles.
The Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 4 out of 9 missiles and 50 out of 62 drones. At the same time, 11 facilities across the country were hit.
