Former US Vice President Kamala Harris has announced that she may run for president again in the future and has left open the possibility of continuing her political career. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In an interview with the BBC, she emphasized that she is not currently planning to completely withdraw from politics and that serving society is in her nature. Harris said she has viewed serving people as her main task throughout her career and does not want to change this feeling.
She said, “I have spent my entire career serving people, and that is in my nature. I cannot separate that from myself.”
When asked, “Could you one day become the first female leader of the White House?” Harris replied, “Probably yes.” However, she said she has not yet made a final decision about whether to run for president.
The next US presidential election will be held in 2028. In this regard, Harris stated that she is still considering whether to start a new phase in her political career or work in another direction.
She added that there are many ways to serve and that she has not yet decided exactly what she will choose in the future. Harris also responded to opinions that her candidacy for the Democratic Party is insignificant or weak.
According to her, she relies not only on polls and analyses but also on trust and action. “If I only looked at poll results, I probably would not have put forward my candidacy for the first or second position.
But now I am standing here,” she said. Harris also criticized the current president Donald Trump’s activities.
In her opinion, Trump used federal agencies for personal purposes and pressured some business and organization leaders. “Many people knelt before him even before he returned to power.
