Vinod Dongl, a lawyer and private school owner living in Dhamnod city, Madhya Pradesh state of India, felt like he had become a real billionaire for a few minutes. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This incident occurred after a new bank account was opened. When Dongl logged into the system, he was astonished to see 28.1 billion rupees, approximately 3.5 million US dollars, in his account.
According to him, at that moment he felt as if he had won all the lotteries in the world. According to the bank system's data, the account held 1,312 shares of Harsil Agro Limited company, each valued at 21.4 million rupees.
Due to a technical error, prices were displayed hundreds of times higher than actual. However, this happy "billionaire" status did not last long.
After a few minutes, the error was corrected, prices were restored to their original state, and Vinod Dongl's wealth disappeared from the figures. Nevertheless, the lawyer took this event positively, calling it a "short but pleasant moment of digital magic" and remembered the experience with a smile.
