According to China's official media, during the meeting held in Kuala Lumpur, a delegation led by Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng held open and effective talks with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Trade Representative James Greer.
The parties exchanged views on mutually beneficial economic cooperation and trade issues. Additionally, the leaders of China and the US plan to meet soon at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit to be held in South Korea.
