Trees are being cut down on Bobur Street in Tashkent city. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The city administration announced that these works are being carried out with the aim of renewing the street and greening the area. Some of the previously growing pine trees in the area had dried up due to disease.
Therefore, it is planned to plant 83 pyramid-shaped thuja saplings and more than 62 thousand ornamental shrubs in their place. Representatives of the administration admitted that some mistakes were made during the work process and stated that inspections are being conducted to identify them.
Officials emphasized that the greening efforts are aimed at making the urban environment more comfortable, clean, and ecologically healthy. At the same time, they announced that necessary measures will be taken to ensure that such works are carried out more qualitatively and thoroughly in the future.
These projects serve to improve the living conditions of the population and to beautify the city’s appearance. The city administration also asks citizens to actively cooperate in the greening efforts.
Through this, it is envisaged that Tashkent city will become a greener and more beautiful place.
