A tragic incident that occurred in the municipality of Vacaria, Brazil, deeply saddened the country's public. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the Daily Mail publication, a father and daughter died as a result of a bee swarm attack. According to information, Silvana da Fatima Bragansa da Lush accidentally drove over a beehive by the roadside while driving a car.
This caused the bee swarm to attack. The unexpected event caused the woman to lose consciousness.
Local residents, hearing the call for help, immediately arrived at the scene. Silvana's 79-year-old father went to the scene trying to save his daughter.
However, he was also taken to the hospital in serious condition due to bee stings. Although doctors tried to help him, he died the next day.
According to rescuers, it took a long time to reach the scene because their station was located 60 kilometers away from the incident site. This reduced the chances of saving the two lives.
The local police are investigating the incident. According to their information, the woman was stung by hundreds of bees and was still alive when rescuers arrived but was in critical condition.
Despite all efforts, doctors were unable to save her life. Local resident Juliano Gibbert said about this: “Bee attacks happen unexpectedly.
There should not have been a hive by the roadside. If the ambulance had arrived on time, they could have been saved.”
Such incidents are not happening for the first time. Last September, reports spread about two children dying as a result of hundreds of bee stings in Yunnan province, China.
Experts urge citizens to avoid approaching beehives, especially when moving by vehicles, and to be cautious of natural hazards. This event once again reminded us how important caution and respect towards the forces of nature are.
