
In the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, state official and former presidential advisor Yerjan Babaqumarov was beaten and died. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to information, the 56-year-old former official died on the night of October 29 due to severe injuries to his head and body. According to the police report, this tragedy occurred as a result of a quarrel between two men.

Yerjan Babaqumarov was born on March 2, 1969, in the Taldykorgan region. He held a PhD in political sciences and served in several responsible positions within Kazakhstan's state administration.
Since 1996, Babaqumarov worked in the Presidential Administration, the Prime Minister's Office, and the Central Communications Service. Additionally, from 2019 to 2022, he served as the deputy mayor of Almaty city.
Currently, the Astana police have initiated a criminal case regarding the murder. Experts emphasize that this incident may cause significant resonance within the country's political circles.
