According to information, on November 4 of this year, the US Treasury Department imposed sanctions on eight North Korean citizens and two legal entities accused of cybercrimes and illegal financial activities.
US officials emphasize that North Korean hackers have stolen more than three billion dollars in cryptocurrency since 2017. These cyberattacks are said to have been carried out by groups linked to North Korean intelligence.
