On November 8, 2025, the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan and Freedom Holding Corp. announced strategic cooperation to establish an artificial intelligence center (AI-hub) in the country. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The project aims to strengthen Kazakhstan's and Central Asian countries' leadership in the field of artificial intelligence.

This information was published on the ministry's official website. The center's infrastructure will be equipped based on Nvidia technologies, and its management will be entrusted to Freedom Holding Corp.

The total value of the project is planned to be $2 billion, with Freedom Holding Corp. participating as the main investor.

Timur Turlov, CEO of Freedom Holding Corp., emphasized the importance of this initiative. He noted that the combination of Nvidia technologies, the ministry's strategic approach, and the company's experience will create a solid foundation for developing innovations and long-term growth in Central Asia.

Additionally, the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan will create the necessary conditions for the artificial intelligence center. Within the framework of this center, the establishment of an artificial intelligence academy and a research laboratory is planned.

Furthermore, 165,000 Kazakh teachers will have access to the ChatGPT Edu platform. This is an educational chatbot, and the agreement on its implementation was signed between Freedom Holding, OpenAI, and the government of Kazakhstan.

This project will serve to enhance the country's potential in the field of artificial intelligence.
