
A powerful explosion occurred at a perfume and cosmetics manufacturing factory in Manisa province, located in the western part of Turkey. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to initial information, at least six people died as a result of this incident. After the explosion, a fire broke out in the factory area.
Since the tragedy happened during working hours, several workshops in the factory were completely destroyed. The bodies of workers who died during the firefighting efforts were found.
Currently, emergency services and police officers are working at the scene. Search and rescue operations are continuing with increased intensity.
The area has been completely closed for security reasons. It has been reported that the explosion also caused damage to nearby houses and other production facilities.
The extent of the damage and the exact causes of the explosion are still being investigated. According to preliminary assumptions, the tragedy may have occurred due to a chemical reaction during the production process or a technical malfunction in the factory equipment.
The Manisa governorate expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased and announced that the factory's operations have been temporarily suspended. This incident has caused great concern among the Turkish public.
