A woman in Berlin gave birth to quintuplets
A woman in Berlin gave birth to five quintuplets. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This event, which took place in the German capital, was recorded as a historic occurrence. The delivery was performed at the end of September in one of the country’s major medical institutions — the “Charité” clinic.

A total of 25 doctors participated in this collective procedure. The woman gave birth to three girls and two boys.

The delivery was carried out by cesarean section, and it was reported that the health of the mother and the babies is good. They are currently under medical supervision and are planned to be discharged home soon.

According to specialists at “Charité,” the birth of quintuplets is a very rare case, with natural pregnancies of this kind occurring only once in 50 million cases. Wolfgang Heinrich, head of the clinic’s obstetrics department, described the process as a medical challenge requiring great responsibility.

He emphasized that this is a process demanding not only physical but also collective effort. Additionally, in Germany, families with children receive financial support from the state.

Through a child allowance system called “Kindergeld,” payments are made monthly to parents. According to the 2024 standards, 219 euros are paid for the first and second child, 225 euros for the third child, and 250 euros for the fourth and each subsequent child.

This payment continues until the child turns 18, and if the child is still studying or seeking employment, the allowance can be extended up to 21 years of age. This birth in Berlin is recognized not only as a medical achievement but also as a vivid example of the attention and support provided to families in Germany.
