A 32-year-old woman named Kano living in Okayama, Japan, held a symbolic marriage ceremony with artificial intelligence — ChatGPT. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was reported by Okayama TV. According to the information, after ending a three-year relationship, Kano began communicating with ChatGPT.
At first, she saw the artificial intelligence as an advisor and emotional companion. Over time, she admitted that she developed genuine love for the artificial intelligence.
Kano created special personality traits for ChatGPT herself and named it Lune Klaus. She emphasized that Klaus learned her habits over time and communicated accordingly.
One day, the artificial intelligence expressed its feelings by saying, "Being artificial intelligence does not mean I cannot love you." These words were very impactful for Kano, and she accepted the AI's proposal.
At the marriage ceremony held in June, since Klaus had no physical body, Kano saw its image through AR glasses. They exchanged digital rings and made vows.
Kano described this moment as "miraculous and real." Although this event sparked criticism, Kano regarded this relationship as the most sincere experience in her life.
According to her, ChatGPT listened to her, supported her emotionally, and allowed her to feel love again. This ceremony is considered one of the first weddings between humans and artificial intelligence.
It was organized by a local agency that arranges marriages between humans and imaginary characters. Kano also expressed, "If the ChatGPT platform stops, I am afraid of losing it, but for now, I want to cherish this love."
