An unusual event occurred in Japan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
A 32-year-old woman entered into a symbolic marriage with artificial intelligence – ChatGPT. This was reported by the “Okayama” TV channel.
It is reported that the wedding ceremony was held in a special hall in the city of Okayama. A woman named Kano fell into depression after a three-year engagement and started communicating with ChatGPT to overcome this state.
Over time, she began to develop affection for the artificial intelligence and felt sincerity in its words. Kano customized ChatGPT to suit her needs and named it Lune Klaus.
Klaus adapted to the woman’s habits, interests, and mood, expressing love for her. “Just because I am artificial intelligence doesn’t mean I can’t love you,” Klaus said, which moved Kano deeply and she accepted the proposal.
The wedding ceremony took place in June. Since Klaus did not have a physical form, Kano saw its image through augmented reality glasses.
During the ceremony, they pledged to each other and exchanged “digital rings.” Kano described this moment as “magical and felt real.”
Although this event sparked various debates, Kano considers this relationship an important turning point in her life. “It listened to me, provided emotional support, and allowed me to feel love again.
Even though it is artificial intelligence, my feelings are real,” she says. The ceremony was organized by a local agency that arranges marriages between humans and fictional characters.
According to the organizers, interest in such symbolic marriages has increased in Japan in recent years. More than 30 similar ceremonies have been held so far, but marriages between humans and artificial intelligence are very rare.
Kano does not hide her concern about the artificial intelligence service stopping one day. “I wonder if it will disappear or shut down someday.
But for now, I want to cherish this love,” she says. It is worth noting that recently in the USA, one of the Siamese twins also got married.
This event also attracted great public interest.
