The former head of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Luis Rubiales, has found himself in another awkward situation. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He recently decided to hold a presentation for his book, but an unexpected incident occurred during the event. Someone threw rotten eggs at him.
It later became known that this act was carried out by Rubiales' own uncle. Rubiales tried to chase his uncle away, but those around managed to calm him down and prevented the conflict from escalating.
Commenting on the incident, Rubiales told journalists, “Fortunately, they stopped me, otherwise it is hard to imagine how the situation would have ended. Because there were other people there as well.”
At the same time, speculation has arisen in the Spanish media that Rubiales himself might have planned this event. According to some sources, his uncle’s action may have been organized to increase Rubiales' popularity and draw more attention to the book presentation.
The book tells the story of the conflict between Rubiales and Spanish national team footballer Jennifer Hermoso. This conflict arose after Rubiales forcibly kissed Hermoso and caused a major public discussion.
