Magzum Mirzagaliev may become ambassador to Uzbekistan

On November 14, 2025, news spread that Magzum Mirzagaliev, advisor to the President of Kazakhstan, may be appointed as the new ambassador to Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was announced by Nurlan Jumagulov, an expert in the oil and gas sector and organizer of Energy Monitor, on his Telegram channel. Magzum Mirzagaliev was born in 1978 in Almaty.

During his career, he worked at the "KazMunayGas" company, as well as held positions of deputy minister and vice minister of energy. Later, he headed the Ministry of Ecology and Energy.

Since 2022, he has repeatedly served as an advisor to the President of Kazakhstan. Currently, his candidacy is being considered for the diplomatic representative position in Uzbekistan.
