A man who went missing 45 years ago in India unexpectedly reunited with his family. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The incident was covered by the "Times of India" publication. According to the information, a man named Rikhi was born in the village of Nadi in the Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh state.
In 1980, he left his home and started working at a hotel in the state of Haryana. However, that same year he was involved in a road traffic accident, suffered a head injury, and lost his memory.
His parents believed he had died and lost hope of his return. Due to the incident, Rikhi forgot his village, moved to Mumbai, and started a new life there.
He lived under the name Ravi Chaudhary, got married, and completely cut ties with his past. Years later, after sustaining another injury, his childhood memories began to return.
With the help of his wife, he managed to identify his origins and find his birth village. On November 15, 2025, Rikhi traveled 1600 kilometers and returned to the village of Nadi.
He met with his brothers and sisters whom he had not seen for 45 years. This event was met with great astonishment in India.
