Former US President Donald Trump has expressed his position on the peace plan concerning Ukraine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In an interview with journalists aboard the "Air Force One" aircraft, he announced that the peace concept has been reduced from 28 points to 22. At the same time, he denied previous reports about a reduction to 19 points.
According to Trump, this concept is not a final plan but a preliminary draft. He noted that effective solutions have been found on several points during negotiations and said he is awaiting the results of the process.
The former president believes that Ukraine must reach a compromise with Russia on territorial issues. Citing the difficult situation at the front, he called on Kyiv to make a thoughtful decision.
Trump announced that US Special Representative Stephen Biegun will visit Moscow in the coming days as part of the negotiations. He also mentioned that his son-in-law Jared Kushner might participate in the talks.
Earlier, reports circulated that controversial points regarding the reduction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and full amnesty had been removed from the peace project.
