There is a possibility of a new term emerging in US politics. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Former President Donald Trump proposed a new name on the Truth Social platform for members of the Republican Party who support his policies. He suggested the options "TEPUBLICAN" or "TPUBLICAN".
Trump's son, Donald Jr., proposed calling them "Trumplicans". Recently, Trump's approval rating has continued to decline.
According to The New York Times, currently 41 percent of Americans support Trump, while 55 percent oppose his policies. Even Fox News, which traditionally supported Republicans, has noted that Trump's reputation is falling.
Additionally, conflicts are intensifying within Trump's "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) movement. For example, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has engaged in sharp disputes with Trump on several issues.
She criticized the president on matters such as the national debt, replacement of jobs with illegal immigrants, and financing of foreign interests. Greene even announced her intention to leave Congress.
Furthermore, Trump's former advisor Steve Bannon also criticized him for paying excessive attention to foreign policy. Among Republicans, dissatisfaction with Trump's tariff policies is growing.
According to survey results conducted by the Washington Post and ABC, 25 percent of party members did not support this policy, and 47 percent stated that tariffs lead to inflation. These situations indicate serious disagreements between Trump and his supporters.
Political debates continue within the Republican Party regarding its direction.
