The Domodedovo City Court of the Moscow region found the well-known Russian actress Aglaya Tarasova guilty of drug smuggling. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The court sentenced her to three years of probation and fined her 200,000 rubles. This criminal case is related to the discovery of 0.38 grams of hash oil inside the actress's vape, which came from Tel Aviv.
During the trial, Tarasova faced a prison sentence of three to seven years under the Russian Criminal Code article on smuggling. However, the prosecutor emphasized that the actress could be rehabilitated without being separated from society and requested a lighter sentence.
As a result, the court issued a relatively lenient decision. The court session was held behind closed doors.
During the proceedings, well-known artists, including Leonid Yarmolnik, Yevgeniy Siganov, and Yuliya Snigir, testified in defense of the actress. Additionally, famous figures such as Sergey Bezrukov and Yevgeniy Mironov provided written guarantees for the actress.
They described Tarasova as a responsible and hardworking person and asked the court for leniency. In court, Aglaya Tarasova admitted her guilt and called the incident a serious mistake.
She stated that she received the vape as a gift from an acquaintance in Israel and believed its contents were legal. She regarded this situation as a hard lesson in her life.
During the initial investigation, the court imposed preventive measures without house arrest, restricting her internet use and requiring her not to leave home at night. Aglaya Tarasova is the daughter of the famous actress Kseniya Rappoport and is known for her roles in films such as the "Lyd" trilogy, "Kholop-2," and "Besprinsipnye."
This event became a serious lesson in her life.
