Belarus plans to produce its own civil aircraft by 2029-2030. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by Dmitry Krutoy, head of the Belarus Presidential Administration, on the "Belarus 1" TV channel. According to Dmitry Krutoy, Belarus is developing its aviation industry from scratch, and the production volume in this sector is increasing year by year.
He emphasized that the growth rates in the aviation industry are very high. According to Krutoy, production volume has increased from 30 percent to three times.
Additionally, Belarus's cooperation with Russia in the aviation sector is highly valued. Strong connections have been established with the main aviation factories in the country, including the Minsk and Orsha plants.
However, Krutoy also noted that there are some difficulties in cooperation with Russia. Belarus's main goal is to create a new aviation school and develop modern technologies.
According to Krutoy, by 2029-2030 Belarus plans to create a civil aircraft ready for full production. The development of Belarus's aviation industry and the production of new aircraft are expected to bring significant achievements in the country's economic and industrial sectors.
This process will also serve to enhance Belarus's technological potential.
