In 2025, 4.1 thousand Uzbek students are studying at higher education institutions in Kazakhstan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by the publication "Liter.kz". According to the data, Uzbekistan ranks third in the number of foreign students after Turkmenistan and India.

Overall, it is noted that a total of 35.1 thousand students from 88 countries are studying at higher education institutions in Kazakhstan. This figure has increased by 11 percent compared to 2024.

Among the students, healthcare, pedagogy, and information technology remain the most popular fields. The number of students studying in the healthcare field is 12.9 thousand.

Kazakhstan's major cities Almaty, Astana, and Shymkent have become the main educational centers attracting foreign students. These cities stand out not only for education but also for their favorable conditions for international students.
