Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the "Russia Calls!" investment forum, emphasized that Russia does not intend to go to war with Europe, but Moscow is ready if necessary. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, Europe is hindering the U.S. administration's efforts to peacefully resolve the conflict in Ukraine. Russia rejects ideas of strategic defeat and does not accept Brussels' unacceptable proposals.
Putin described the military actions in Ukraine as a "special operation," stating that it is not a war. According to him, Russia is acting cautiously and with clear objectives in this process.
Addressing the situation in the Black Sea, Putin said that if attacks on tankers by Ukraine continue, Russia may take retaliatory measures. He called such actions "maritime piracy" and mentioned the possibility of completely cutting Ukraine off from the Black Sea as the most radical response.
Through this, Russia once again demonstrated its readiness to protect its interests.
