Kazan Residents Want to Celebrate the New Year in Uzbekistan

Residents of Kazan city are planning to spend the New Year holidays in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This was reported by the "Kommersant" publication based on data from "Aviasales". It has been revealed that the share of flight ticket bookings to Uzbekistan amounted to 21 percent.

According to this indicator, Uzbekistan surpassed Thailand (19%), Turkey (7%), and China (4%). Overall, among Kazan residents, New Year travel bookings abroad accounted for 41 percent.

At the same time, the average duration of New Year holidays abroad for Kazan residents is about ten days. The remaining 59 percent of bookings were for flights within Russia.

According to data from the National Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, during the first ten months of 2025, 852 thousand Russians visited Uzbekistan. This figure indicates that our country's tourism sector is becoming increasingly attractive to foreign tourists.
