A fire broke out at the Narinkol border post located in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
As a result of this tragedy, one military serviceman and his minor child died. The fire occurred in the service building and, although it was extinguished in a short time, these terrible losses could not be prevented.
Currently, an investigation is underway regarding this incident. Officials are examining the causes of the fire, the extent to which safety regulations were followed, and the technical condition of the building.
At the same time, efforts continue to determine how quickly the fire spread and how many employees were inside the building at the time of the incident. The border service expressed deep condolences to the family of the deceased serviceman and announced that necessary assistance is being provided to them.
This event once again emphasizes the need to review the security infrastructure and the condition of service buildings in border areas.
